We’re Hiring | Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

Experience: 6+ Years

Location: Pune(Hybrid – Office presence required)

Shift Schedule: Rotational Shifts (Morning , Day , Night)

Availability: Immediate to 15 Days

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Managed Services team. This role involves working across Snowflake environments for multiple clients — ensuring stability, performance, and continuous optimization of modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Snowflake Development & Data Engineering

• Design and develop robust Snowflake pipelines, data models, and transformations
• Optimize queries, monitor Snowflake warehouse usage, and manage cost/performance tradeoffs
• Handle CI/CD integration and data orchestration with tools like Azure Data Factory (ADF)

L2/L3 Production Support

• Provide expert-level support for Snowflake jobs, failed queries, and data workflows
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and ensure system reliability
• Manage service requests including user/role provisioning and access control

Documentation & Collaboration

• Create and maintain runbooks and standard operating procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data operations
• Log and track issues using tools like ServiceNow or Jira

Required Skills

• 6+Years in Data Engineering
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake development and support
• Strong SQL expertise, with a solid understanding of data modeling and performance tuning
• Experience with scripting (Python, Shell) and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools like ADF (Azure Data Factory)

Good to Have

• SnowPro Core Certification
• Prior experience with ITIL processes and production support workflows
• Knowledge of Azure cloud ecosystem
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira)

Soft Skills

• Proactive ownership and accountability
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work under pressure in rotational shift environments
• Strong documentation and knowledge-sharing mindset
