Senior Site Engineer

Job Summary: ============ We are seeking a technically proficient and experienced Senior Site Engineer with a strong background in bridge construction. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of hands-on experience in managing site execution for bridge and related infrastructure projects. The role involves supervision, coordination, and quality control to ensure the successful and timely completion of structural works according to design specifications and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: ==================== : Supervise day-to-day site activities for bridge construction, including substructure (pile, pier, abutment), superstructure (girder, deck slab, PSC box girders, etc.), and approaches. : Ensure construction work complies with approved drawings, designs, and technical specifications (IRC, IS codes). : Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution of bridge works. : Oversee formwork, reinforcement, concreting, launching/erection of girders, and post-tensioning works. : Monitor quality control of materials and workmanship; ensure testing of materials as per standards. : Track project progress and report daily/weekly updates to the Project Manager or Resident Engineer. : Maintain site records including DPRs (Daily Progress Reports), material consumption, and equipment logs. : Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols and statutory regulations. : Assist in quantity surveying, billing, and measurement checks for contractor work. : Identify technical issues or delays and coordinate problem-solving with relevant stakeholders. : Manage manpower, machinery, and resource planning to achieve targets on time. : Execution of industrial structures, cooling towers, power plant structures, pipe supports, cable Racks, PEB structures ( Both in RCCC & Steel ) : Measuring, recording of work in measurement book and preparation of bill for Quantity of work. : Estimation of Quantity from drawings : Site surveying and soil investigation Required Qualifications & Skills: =================================== : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution. : (2 to 6) years of site experience, preferably in bridge or highway infrastructure projects. : Strong understanding of IRC/IS codes, bridge construction techniques, and structural behavior. : Proficiency in interpreting GFC drawings, bar bending schedules, and structural details. : Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking tools. : Familiar with quality assurance procedures and documentation. : Effective leadership, communication, and team coordination skills. Preferred Experience: ========================== : Exposure to projects under NHAI, MoRTH, Railways, or other government infrastructure bodies. : Experience with segmental bridge construction, pre-stressed concrete, or balanced cantilever techniques. : Familiarity with construction equipment like launching girders, cranes, batching plants, etc.
