Senior Service Technician

For an Kerala's Leading Home Automation Company

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the installation of home automation systems (e.g., Control4, Savant, Crestron, Lutron, etc.)
• Configure and program smart devices including lighting, shades, thermostats, surveillance cameras, and AV systems
• Install and troubleshoot home networking equipment (routers, switches, access points)
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and other trades on job sites
• Perform system testing, quality checks, and provide client training upon project completion
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, providing support to junior technicians
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service calls, and updates
• Stay current with evolving technologies and suggest improvements or upgrades

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in home automation, AV integration, or low-voltage systems
• Strong knowledge of smart home platforms
• Proficient in low-voltage wiring, rack building, and network configuration
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior technicians
• Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to travel to job sites and work flexible hours when needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of IP networking and IT infrastructure
• Experience with security system integration (e.g., alarms, CCTV)
• Familiarity with building and electrical codes

Education: Bachelors Degree

Experience: 3+ years preferred

Salary offer: 20% increment of the current salary
