Senior Service Technician

As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for advanced HVAC systems service, including installation, maintenance, and repair of complex HVAC systems, chillers, and precision AC units. Your core responsibilities will include performing emergency breakdown repairs within a 2-hour response window for priority clients, conducting warranty services, and system optimizations to enhance energy efficiency. Your technical leadership skills will be utilized to train junior technicians in areas such as air/water system balancing, schematic reading (BMS/electrical diagrams), and confined space safety protocols. Additionally, you will play a key role in client and compliance management by resolving customer queries in Kannada, English, Hindi, and Tamil, ensuring compliance with appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and meeting service standards and customers" requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform emergency breakdown repairs within a 2-hour response window - Conduct warranty services and system optimizations for energy efficiency - Train junior technicians in air/water system balancing, schematic reading, and safety protocols - Resolve customer queries in multiple languages - Ensure compliance with appliance standards and safety regulations **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering - 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in HVAC repair and service - Proficiency in English and either Kannada or Tamil (verbal/written) In addition to the technical aspects, the operational requirements of this role include working from 9AM to 6PM (Mon-Sat) with a 24/7 on-call rotation for one week per month. The physical demands may involve confined space work and heavy lifting (50+ lbs), while medical coverage includes a 2 lakh insurance post a 6-month probation period.
