You will be responsible for creating custom software applications on the Salesforce platform that meet our specific requirements for client management and other daily operations. You will also integrate Salesforce with existing systems, ensuring data accuracy and security and providing technical support whenever required. Objectives of this role Creating custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications. Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and deployment. Supporting, maintaining and improving the working of existing Salesforce applications for optimal functionality. Creating and maintaining integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs. Collaborating with stakeholders and other developers to identify and implement improvements for the system. Ensuring compliance with security and development standards of Salesforce. Key Responsibilities Design, Develop, and Implement: Develop custom solutions using declarative and programmatic approaches (Apex, LWC, etc.), and implement features based on business requirements. Integration: Create integration solutions using REST APIs and other integration tools. Performance Optimization: Optimize Apex code, SOQL queries, and Lightning components for performance and scalability. DevOps and CI/CD: Implement and manage DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines. Testing and Debugging: Conduct system testing, debug issues, and troubleshoot problems. Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior developers, ensuring they follow best practices. Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and standards. Release Management: Manage metadata deployments, data migration, and environment comparisons. Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to gather requirements. Required skills and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field. 5-10 years of demonstrable experience in software development. Working Knowledge of Apex, LWC, Flows, Rest and SOAP API integration, Visualforce and other Salesforce development technologies. Salesforce [Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Commerce Cloud, Data Cloud, Agent Force, Health Cloud] product knowledge and at least 5 years of Salesforce development experience. Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Salesforce certifications, like Platform Developer I or II, App Builder or Administrator. Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio Code, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and the Salesforce development life-cycle. Strategic thinking and ability to align Salesforce solutions with overall business objectives. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of requests and deliver high-quality solutions.
