Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Sales Manager/Sales Manager at Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics Private Limited in Mumbai, Maharashtra, you will be responsible for achieving Order booking and Sales targets through Channel Sales & Project Sales of MV drives & LV drives. You will report to the Regional Sales Head/Branch Head and play a crucial role in driving sales for Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drives (MV VFD) and Low Voltage Variable Frequency Drives (LV VFD). Your deep understanding of power electronics fundamentals, strong relationships with key accounts, and knowledge of INCOTERMS will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Drive sales growth for MV VFD and LV VFD product lines. - Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and increase market share. - Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including channel business development and exploring new markets and customer segments. - Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to align products with customer needs and market demands. - Provide technical expertise and support to customers, helping them understand the benefits and applications of MV VFD and LV VFD products. - Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, ensuring compliance with INCOTERMS. - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies. - Generate regular sales reports and forecasts, offering insights and recommendations to senior management. Qualifications: - Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus. - 12-14 years of sales experience, with at least 9-10 years specifically in MV VFD and LV VFD sales. - Proficiency in power electronics fundamentals. - Strong ability to establish and maintain relationships with key accounts. - Familiarity with INCOTERMS and their application in sales contracts. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. - Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive and results-driven approach. - Willingness to travel as needed. Desired Skills: - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends effectively. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Capability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure.,
