JOB TITLE : Senior Proposal Engineer / Proposal Assistant Manager DEPARTMENT: Sales & Marketing EXPERIENCE: 4-6 Years LOCATION : Sanand, Gujarat MUST: Estimation or costing experience of battery / battery charger / electrical panels. POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a motivated Proposal Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience in preparing techno-commercial offers and a solid understanding of battery / battery charger / electrical panels / Power Conditioning products. The ideal candidate will be skilled in estimating product costs, convincing customers to place orders, and participating in kick-off meetings to ensure smooth project initiation. As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our sales efforts and ensuring customer satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Prepare comprehensive techno-commercial offers for power conditioning product like UPS, VFDs, Solar Inverter while ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements and specifications. Estimate product costs and develop pricing strategies to ensure competitive and profitable proposals. Communicate with customers to understand their needs, address their concerns, and convince them to place orders. Participate in kickoff meetings to discuss project details, timelines, and deliverables with internal teams and customers. Maintain and update sales documentation, including proposals, quotations, and contracts, ensuring all information is current and accurate. QUALIFICATIONS : B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma - Electronics & Communication / Electrical / Power Electronics 4 to 6 years of experience in preparing proposal or estimation or inside sales or pre-sales roles, with a focus on electrical panel / battery / battery charger. Strong technical aptitude and understanding of UPS technology, including different types of UPS systems, configurations, and applications. Experience in preparing techno-commercial offers, conducting pricing analysis, and developing sales proposals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
