Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development by identifying and engaging with prospective clients.
  • Prepare, present, and negotiate quotations and commercial terms with confidence.
  • Support annual sales budgeting and contribute to long-term strategic planning.
  • Analyze sales performance data and provide actionable insights for management.
  • Track customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts through regular communication and client visits.
  • Manage the complete RFQ (Request for Quotation) process.
  • Deliver accurate weekly and monthly sales forecasts.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and after-sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in benchmarking and competitor analysis to support business strategy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in B2B sales, preferably within the automotive, mechanical, or machinery industries.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (essential); Hindi fluency is a strong advantage.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of technical and commercial aspects in the automotive/mechanical sector.

  • Proven track record in new business development.
  • Strong negotiation and quotation preparation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in RFQ handling and sales trend forecasting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-first approach.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per month

  • Thiruverkadu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
