Senior Sales Executive

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales/Sr. Sales Executive to join our team as a part of Alibaba.com’s growth in India. This role is ideal for professionals with a passion for B2B sales, client acquisition, and helping small and medium enterprises (SMEs) grow their global presence through e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and generate qualified B2B leads through online and offline channels.

* Conduct in-person/virtual meetings with SMEs and exporters to present Alibaba.com's value proposition.

* Educate potential clients on Alibaba.com's platform features, tools, and how it can benefit their specific business goals.

* Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to client onboarding and post-sale support.

* Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.

* Stay up to date with Alibaba.com platform updates, industry trends, and competitor insights.

Requirements:

* 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, lead generation, or client acquisition.

* Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

* Strong knowledge of the B2B e-commerce ecosystem and digital platforms.

* Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

* Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.

* Experience with Alibaba.com or similar B2B platforms is highly desirable.

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
