Job Title: Senior Sales Executive – Automotive Wiring Harness Location: Pune, India Company: PTLPU AUTOMOTIVE India PVT LTD. --- About Us: PTLPU AUTOMOTIVE INDIA PVT LTD is a specialized provider of vehicle wiring harness process documentation, including cutting charts, work instructions, BOMs, assembly drawings and component sales for automotive clients across India. We are expanding and seeking an experienced sales professional with strong industry and technical knowledge to help us grow our client base and service quality. --- Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the automotive wiring harness sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, harness manufacturers, and component suppliers. Present and promote PTLPU’s solutions effectively to meet customer requirements. Conduct field visits, customer meetings, and product/service demonstrations. Understand client processes and provide end-to-end support, including logistics coordination and customs clearance guidance when required. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate and timely proposal submission. Keep up-to-date records of customer interactions, project status, and market intelligence. --- Job Requirements: 1. Experience: Minimum 5+ years in the automotive industry, particularly in wiring harness or related domains. 2. Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of wiring harness systems, components, and assembly methods. Good knowledge of Indian wiring harness manufacturers and component suppliers. Familiarity with logistics processes and customs clearance related to automotive components. 3. Sales Skills: Proven sales success in B2B technical environments. Excellent at lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and closing deals. Strong grasp of key sales terminologies and CRM tools. 4. Communication: Fluent in English (spoken and written); local language skills are a plus. Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. 5. Mobility & Flexibility: Willing to relocate to Pune. Comfortable with extensive travel and field visits. 6. Professionalism: High standards of ethics, responsibility, and customer service orientation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 7. Market Understanding: Knowledge of the automotive component market, pricing, and customer expectations. Ability to identify and onboard new customers. --- Preferred Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Automobile preferred). Network within OEMs, Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers. Hands-on knowledge of customs documentation, freight handling, and vendor coordination.
