Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer / Sales Manager β 3D Printing Location: Chennai, India Experience Required: 5+ years (preferably in 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing) Industry: 3D Printing, Electronics, Mechatronics, Advanced Manufacturing Employment Type: Permanent Job Description We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Sales Engineer / Sales Manager with a deep understanding of 3D printing technologies and strong technical acumen in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering. This individual will play a key role in scaling our sales efforts across multiple high-tech industries, including aerospace, automotive, healthcare, and defense. The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with a proven track record of B2B technology sales, capable of driving complex solution-based selling, cultivating long-term client partnerships, and consistently exceeding revenue targets. Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Development: Identify and capture new business opportunities in the 3D printing sector across various industries, with a focus on high-value enterprise clients. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep, consultative relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. Provide technical and strategic insights to support customer objectives. Sales Execution: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth guidance on 3D printing systems, materials, and applications. Act as a technical advisor to clients throughout the sales cycle. Demonstrations and Presentations: Lead high-impact product demos and technical presentations to showcase solutions and drive customer engagement. Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to shape go-to-market strategies. Proposal & Contract Management: Prepare and negotiate detailed proposals, RFP responses, and commercial agreements aligned with customer needs and company objectives. Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. Qualifications Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering (mandatory). Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, with a strong focus on 3D printing, additive manufacturing, or advanced manufacturing solutions. Deep understanding of 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLA, SLS, DMLS, etc.), materials, and their industry applications. Strong commercial acumen with a consultative sales approach. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales reporting tools. Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events and expos. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience with CAD and 3D printing software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, slicing software). Existing network and client relationships in industries actively adopting 3D printing technologies. Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple high-stake projects simultaneously.
