Our engineering team specializes in PLC integration, LabVIEW, IoT gateways, cloud dashboards, and quality monitoring systems across manufacturing and process industries.

We are expanding our business development team to strengthen our industrial and automation client base.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager with proven experience in handling industry-related projects such as PLC-based systems, IoT integrations, real-time dashboards, and quality inspection solutions.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of both technical solutions and industrial sales, and be capable of converting opportunities into projects for our IoT delivery team.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and acquire new industrial clients in sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, energy, and process automation.

Understand client requirements involving PLC, SCADA, LabVIEW, and IoT-based automation systems.

Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, solution demonstrations, and presentations.

Work closely with the IoT development team to align project requirements, scope, and delivery timelines.

Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline — from lead identification to project closure.

Maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, integrators, and industrial customers.

Achieve monthly and quarterly project acquisition targets.

Participate in industry expos, client meetings, and technical discussions as the business representative of Crest Climbers.

Required Qualifications

B.E / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related field.

3–8 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, PLC systems, IoT solutions, or process instrumentation sales.

Strong knowledge of:

PLC/SCADA systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.)

LabVIEW and test automation systems

IoT protocols (Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA, REST APIs)

Industrial sensors, gateways, and dashboard systems

Excellent communication, client management, and negotiation skills.

Proven track record in achieving sales targets or project closures.

Preferred Skills

Experience in smart factory, Industry 4.0, or digital transformation projects.

Exposure to SaaS or analytics dashboards used in industrial environments.

Strong network among industrial consultants, vendors, or automation integrators.
