Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain our 

  React Native

   applications.
• Manage and extend backend services using 

  Firebase

   (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, etc.).
• Collaborate on architecture, product direction, and creative problem-solving.
• Work independently with minimal oversight and high accountability.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain and build features in 

  Web applications

   (React, Next.js, or similar).
• Develop integrations with 

  Google Calendar API

  .
• Build or maintain data pipelines using 

  BigQuery

  .
• Support dashboards and analytics in 

  Looker Studio

  .
• Lead and mentor developers during times when we scale the team.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Skills

• 5–8+ years

   professional experience with 

  React Native

  .
• Strong experience with 

  Firebase

   (Cloud Functions, Firestore, Storage, Messaging, hosting, etc.).
• Ability to build scalable mobile architectures and reusable components.
• Comfortable shipping features independently end-to-end.

Additional Skills

• Experience with 

  React

   or other modern Web frameworks.
• Familiarity with 

  Google Cloud

   ecosystem (Google Calendar API, service accounts, BigQuery).
• Understanding of 

  Looker Studio

   or other BI/dashboard tools.
• Ability to manage small teams or lead contractors when needed.

Soft Skills

• Self-managing, proactive, and highly reliable.
• Strong problem-solver with a creative product mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Prior startup or small-team experience.
• UI/UX intuition or ability to collaborate closely with designers.
