Job Summary:


Senior Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) plans, procedures, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with

    ISO 9001

    , client specifications, international codes, and industry standards.
  • Review engineering deliverables and vendor documentation for quality requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and witness tests at fabrication yards and supplier locations.
  • Interface with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding quality matters.
  • Investigate root causes of quality issues and drive corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
  • Develop Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality-related procedures.
  • Support NCR (Non-Conformance Report) management and resolution.
  • Provide mentoring and training to junior QA/QC staff.
  • Participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, and risk assessments as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Petroleum / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10–15 years of relevant QA/QC experience in

    Oil & Gas

    , Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
  • Strong understanding of

    welding, NDT, coatings, pressure equipment, and piping codes (ASME, API, AWS)

    .
  • Experience with

    upstream/downstream projects

    , onshore or offshore.
  • Certified in

    Lead Auditor – ISO 9001:2015

    , CSWIP / AWS / NACE Level 1 or 2 (preferred).
  • Familiarity with tools like SAP, SmartPlant, or similar document management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to fabrication yards or project sites when required.

Preferred Certifications (any one or more):

  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
  • CSWIP 3.1 / 3.2
  • NACE Level 1/2
  • API 510 / 570 / 653
  • ASNT Level II in UT, RT, MT, PT
