Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in automation testing. This role involves leading quality assurance efforts, ensuring the reliability and performance of life insurance applications, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Job Requirement:

• 6 to 8 years of experience in automation testing.
• Proficiency in Java and automation tools like Selenium
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with API testing
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools
• In-depth understanding of life insurance processes

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Execute manual testing for life insurance applications, focusing on accuracy, usability, and functionality
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure smooth and reliable performance
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Jenkins.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software design
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with agile testing processes.
• Lead and oversee manual and functional testing efforts for complex applications within the life insurance domain.
• Identify, log, and track defects in the defect management system, ensuring timely resolution
• Report testing progress and results to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and documentation.
