About the Role

Senior QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the

  end-to-end QA process

  for applications, ensuring all deliverables meet functional, business, and security standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain detailed

  test plans, test cases, and test scripts

  .
• Conduct

  manual testing

  including functional, regression, integration, UAT, and system testing.
• Perform

  security testing

  to identify vulnerabilities, ensure compliance, and safeguard applications.
• Act as a

  Business Analyst

  when required — gathering requirements, analyzing business needs, preparing documentation, and aligning QA efforts with business goals.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Track, document, and manage

  defects

  using tools such as JIRA or similar.
• Define and monitor

  performance metrics

  to measure product quality and release readiness.
• Mentor and guide QA team members, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Continuously improve QA and BA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in

  manual testing, security testing, and business analysis methodologies

  .

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience

  in manual testing, with a strong track record in

  security testing

  and business analysis.
• Expertise in writing and executing

  test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation

  .
• Strong understanding of

  SDLC, STLC, and Agile development methodologies

  .
• Proficiency with

  defect tracking tools

  (JIRA, Bugzilla, Git, or similar).
• Experience in testing

  web and mobile applications

  .
• Ability to

  gather, document, and analyze business requirements

  effectively.
• Familiarity with

  API testing tools

  (Postman, Swagger).
• Knowledge of

  performance/load testing

  tools is an added advantage.
• Exposure to

  security frameworks

  (e.g., OWASP, penetration testing practices).
• Knowledge of

  automation testing tools

  is a plus.
• Excellent

  analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

• Strong

  communication and interpersonal skills
