Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

About the Role:

QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
Conduct
manual and automation testing
to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Work closely with development, product, and project teams to ensure timely issue resolution and delivery of quality software.
Document and report defects clearly using tools like
JIRA
,
Bugzilla
, or similar platforms.
Perform
regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
across multiple environments.
Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies to provide QA insights.
Support
CI/CD
and
automation framework
setup to enhance testing efficiency.
Maintain detailed QA documentation including test reports and status updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3–4 years of professional experience in software quality assurance (manual + automation).
Hands-on experience with testing tools like
Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or Cypress
.
Strong understanding of
SDLC, STLC
, and
Agile methodologies
.
Basic knowledge of
SQL
for data validation and
API testing
.
Familiarity with
version control (Git)
and
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
.
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in testing both
product-based and client-service projects.
Exposure to
cross-browser
,
cross-platform
, and
responsive testing.
Knowledge of automation frameworks (TestNG, Maven, or PyTest).
Awareness of performance and security testing basics.
