Role: Senior QA Engineer5 daysworkingLocation: Andheri SeepzCertification: ISTQB Certified (added advantage, but it is not a compulsion)Experien</strong>ce: Minimum 7 years in software quality assurance, with strong expertise in manual testing, particularly focused on website testing.Domain Expertise: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in eCommerce (eCOM) or Order Management System (OMS) domainsAdditional Skills: Knowledge of automation testing is a plusKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.Perform thorough manual testing of web applications, focusing on functionality, usability, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.Validate that new and existing features meet customer needs and business goals.Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution, ensuring timely closure.Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other project meetings to provide input on potential quality risks.Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments and test data.Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.Explore opportunities to incorporate automation testing into existing processes (if applicable).Required Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 7 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.Proven expertise in manual testing of websites and web applications.Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.Experience in eCommerce or Order Management System (OMS) domains is highly preferred.Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Asana or similar.Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium equivalent is a plus but not mandatory.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
