Automation Test Engineer / QA Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer / QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and ensure high-quality software delivery. The role involves working closely with development, DevOps, and product teams in an Agile / DevOps environment.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Framework Development :

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using C#, .NET, xUnit, NUnit, and MS Playwright.
Develop and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, Integration, End-to-End (E2E), Regression, and UAT testing.
Ensure high test coverage and reliability across web applications and backend services.

API & Integration Testing

Perform automated and manual testing of REST and SOAP APIs using Postman and automation frameworks.
Validate API responses, data integrity, error handling, and performance.
Collaborate with developers to identify defects early and ensure quick resolution.

CI/CD & DevOps Integration

Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / Azure Pipelines.
Enable continuous testing as part of the build and release process.
Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback to development teams.

Database & Data Validation

Perform backend data validation using SQL and NoSQL databases, including Cosmos DB.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems during testing.

Quality Assurance & Collaboration

Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Work closely with product owners, developers, and DevOps teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Support UAT cycles and assist in regression testing before releases.
Ensure adherence to QA best practices, standards, and documentation.

Skills & Experience

Must-Have Skills :

5+ years of overall experience in Software Testing, with at least 3+ years in Test Automation.
Strong experience with C#, .NET, and test frameworks (xUnit, NUnit).
Hands-on experience with MS Playwright for UI automation.
Experience in API testing (REST & SOAP) using Postman.
Strong understanding of UI, API, Integration, E2E, Regression, and UAT testing.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / Azure Pipelines.
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB preferred).
Familiarity with Agile / DevOps methodologies.
Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
