Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
Strong understanding in automation, using APIs.
Candidate must be able to code in python, shell and powershell scripting languages.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand testing requirements and create effective test plans.
Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify issues, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient testing processes.
Use open search technologies like Elastic search, CassDB, Kakfa services to set up and manage test environments.
Debug and resolve issues in automated tests and test environments.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA engineers, as needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase.
Document test plans, test cases, and test results.

Required skills and proficiency :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software automation testing.
Understanding of Web Malwares and vulnerabilities.
Hands on experience testing SaaS applications, Rest APIs
Proficiency in Python programming language.
Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure including OCI.
Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
