Senior QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design and execute test plans for enterprise and web applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration).
• Automate scripts, integrate testing in CI/CD pipelines, and expand test coverage.
• Work with cross-functional teams to track and resolve defects.
• Partner with product owners/developers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Implement documentation standards (test strategies, release notes, user stories).
• Drive best practices in automation, code reviews, CI/CD.
• Contribute to QA setup and release management for UK transformation projects.
• Mentor junior team members on testing methodologies.
• Prepare quality dashboards, QA metrics, and test reports for senior stakeholders.
• Continuously improve QA and DevOps processes.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Experience:

  6+ years in QA testing (enterprise software projects).

• Testing Skills:

  Automated testing, frameworks like Selenium, PyTest, NUnit/MSTest, Playwright.

• DevOps & Tools:

  Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Docker, CI/CD integration.

• Programming:

  Strong in C# and/or Python for writing test scripts.

• Methodologies:

  Agile delivery, QA best practices, SDLC knowledge.

• Cloud/Tech Stack:

  Microsoft Azure, C#, .NET legacy systems.

• Domain Knowledge:

  Exposure to real estate, property management, or CRM platforms (nice to have).

• Soft Skills:

  Analytical, documentation, communication, ability to work independently and globally.

Experience testing financial applications is ideal.
