Senior Production Manager

As the Senior Production Manager at Atlas Transformers India Limited, with 7 to 8 years of experience in the transformer industry, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all production aspects within our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing production schedules, coordinating with various departments to align production plans, and managing day-to-day production operations efficiently. You will lead a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians, ensuring a high-performance culture through mentorship, goal-setting, and continuous training opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating staff in the production department, fostering a collaborative environment. Utilizing lean manufacturing techniques like 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain product quality. Analyzing production data and key performance indicators will be essential to identify inefficiencies and optimize resource utilization effectively. Quality control will be a key focus area, as you will work closely with the quality assurance team to maintain stringent quality standards throughout the production process. Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental regulations, and industry-specific certifications like ISO 9001 will be imperative to create a safe working environment and produce high-quality transformer products. In addition, you will oversee inventory management, coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely material delivery, and manage production resources to ensure cost-effective operations. Monitoring production costs, reducing waste, and providing regular reports to senior management will be essential to meet financial objectives and maintain operational efficiency. Collaborating with other departments such as engineering, R&D, and logistics will be necessary to ensure smooth operations and alignment with business objectives.
