Senior Production Manager

Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities and qualifications: Role Overview: You will be responsible for the following key areas: Key Responsibilities: - Production Planning & Control: - Develop, implement, and manage effective production schedules. - Continuously monitor and adjust schedules to align with production goals and customer demands. - Determine required material and equipment resources, and oversee procurement decisions. - Operations Management: - Establish, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Ensure strict adherence to SOPs and safety standards throughout the plant. - Make data-driven decisions related to equipment maintenance, upgrades, and utilization. - Quality Control: - Define and uphold product quality standards. - Implement and oversee quality assurance programs. - Analyze quality metrics and production output to proactively identify and resolve issues. - Process Improvement: - Recommend and implement improvements for enhanced efficiency, productivity, and quality. - Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards. - Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. - Team Leadership: - Monitor team performance, provide training and interventions for staff development. - Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning. - Reporting & Budgeting: - Prepare detailed production reports and performance summaries. - Estimate production costs, prepare budgets, and implement cost control measures. - Ensure efficient cross-functional collaboration with procurement, distribution, and management. Qualifications: - Education: - Bachelors Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. - Experience: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in production or manufacturing roles. - Strong background in production techniques, raw materials, process improvement, and compliance. - Preferred Industry Background: - Healthcare, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or Equipment Manufacturing.
