Senior Procurement Manager

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager Sourcing/Procurement, your main responsibility will be to ensure all procurements are in line with production plans and statical buying, whether local or imports. You will be in charge of selecting and evaluating new suppliers, monitoring supplier performance, ensuring smooth supply of Consumables and Raw materials, and conducting periodic stock verification. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining stock in ERP, monitoring consumption patterns, and conducting regular audits of stores to ensure quality. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure all procurements align with production plans and statical buying - Select and evaluate new suppliers - Monitor supplier performance - Ensure smooth supply of Consumables and Raw materials - Conduct periodic stock verification - Maintain stock in ERP and keep it up to date - Monitor and maintain inventory - Monitor consumption patterns and report to AGM Commercial - Maintain consumption report - Conduct regular audits of stores physical and practical condition - Ensure smooth store operations without shortages and excess inventory - Maintain max. and min. stocks - Maintain inventory records, prepare material orders, receive, inspect, and store supplies - Adhere to departmental budget norms and report any variances to AGM Commercial - Classify and stack goods according to specifications and locations - Ensure optimal security of all materials and arrange shipments as required - Train employees and staff on inventory control processes - Manage communications with the Finance department and other user departments Qualifications Required: - Minimum 12-15 years of experience in handling Procurement department - Sound knowledge of industry-specific Standards - Leadership and decision-making skills - Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills - Proficiency with ERP and similar software Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits including food provided, health insurance, leave encashment, life insurance, and provident fund.
