Senior Procurement Manager

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager in Sourcing/Procurement, your primary responsibility will be to ensure all procurements are made efficiently to meet production plans, whether for local or imported materials. You will also be in charge of selecting and evaluating new suppliers, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring a smooth supply of consumables and raw materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory records, conducting periodic stock verifications, and reporting stock shortages to the AGM Commercial on a daily basis. Key Responsibilities: - Selection and evaluation of new suppliers - Supplier performance monitoring - Ensuring smooth supply of consumables and raw materials - Periodic stock verification and reporting stock shortages - Maintaining stock in ERP system and keeping it up to date - Monitoring consumption patterns and reporting to AGM Commercial - Conducting audits of store physical and practical conditions - Managing inventory levels, including maintenance of max. and min. stocks - Preparation of material orders and receiving, inspecting, and storing supplies - Adhering to departmental budget norms and reporting any variances - Classifying and stacking goods according to specification and location - Ensuring optimal security of materials and arranging shipments as required - Training employees in inventory control processes and updating procedures - Managing communications with the Finance department and other user departments Qualifications Required: - Minimum 12-15 years of experience in handling procurement departments - Sound knowledge of industry-specific standards - Leadership qualities and decision-making skills - Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities - Proficiency with ERP and similar software Company Details: The company provides the following benefits: - Food provided - Health insurance - Leave encashment - Life insurance - Provident Fund Please note that this is a full-time position with day shift schedule.
