Job Description

As a proactive and detail-oriented BD - Presales Executive in the ITServices Business Development team, your role involves engaging directly with clients to understand their IT needs, gather requirements, create detailed scopes, and estimate costs and timelines. You will play a crucial part in supporting the sales process by converting leads into actionable opportunities and delivering professional presales documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Handling prospecting leads generated by the Business Team and converting them into potential clients. - Engaging with clients to understand their IT service requirements and business challenges. - Gathering and analyzing detailed client requirements related to IT infrastructure, software development, or managed services. - Defining clear project scopes, deliverables, timelines, and cost estimates aligned with client expectations. - Collaborating with technical teams to prepare accurate time and cost estimations for proposed IT solutions. - Preparing and presenting compelling proposals, SOWs, and other presales documentation tailored to IT service offerings. - Supporting the sales team in converting leads by aligning solutions with client needs and business goals. - Maintaining effective communication with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth transitions from presales to project delivery. Required Skills & Competencies: - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Proven experience in client handling and relationship management within the IT services domain. - Skilled in requirement gathering, business analysis, and translating needs into project scopes. - Experience with cost and time estimations for IT projects, including software development and IT infrastructure services. - Ability to create detailed and accurate proposals, presentations, and documentation. - Understanding of IT services delivery models and software development lifecycle (SDLC). - Proficiency in CRM tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields. - Experience working in IT services, software development companies, or IT consulting firms. - Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, or cloud computing environments is a plus.
