Job Description

Senior Platform Owner – Payments Hub


Roles & Responsibilities:


  1. Delivering the product/project within the timeframe and meets customer satisfaction.
  2. Perform appropriate level of stakeholder management across IT and clients
  3. Serve as highest project internal escalation level
  4. Ensure projects are aligned to and deliver against the Business objectives
  5. Ensure Compliance of project delivery to PMO, QMS, and Risk, Audit and architecture guidelines
  6. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, in accordance with defined quality management practices, to achieve common objectives
  7. Ensure maintaining Data confidentiality
  8. Contribute to the yearly IT Roadmap ensuring that project costings and estimates are as accurate as possible.
  9. Work with Business representative to ensure alignment of delivery with Business demand
  10. Leading the product teams in delivering world class platform solutions
  11. Ensuring value added proposition in strategic vendor partnerships and aligning vendor product / industry roadmap of platforms with the business strategy thus enabling an effective business growth
  12. Acquire, groom and retain talent pertaining to the platform
  13. Motivate and lead a team of professionals
  14. Promoting diverse culture while sourcing talent
  15. Enable National leadership initiatives through grooming the right talent


Requirements:


  • General banking and business area knowledge is necessary in order to steer necessary implementations according to bank strategy
  • Additional deep ENBD-specific knowledge of the business requirements for the underlying backend as well as current regulatory topics and responsibilities
  • Experience in applying waterfall implementation methodology along with corresponding project management methodology (capacity planning, vendor management, medium scale development coordination) which also comprises management of interfaces and dependencies to other platform teams and also in connection with the agile teams
  • Additional overview of current testing practices and infrastructure requirements relevant
  • Expertise in relevant technology, implementation and use cases as well as deep knowledge of tools used in the bank specifically in the transactional areas in the scope of Payments Hub.
  • Knowledge in advanced technologies used in the customer experience platforms
  • Additional knowledge of the major strategic priorities of the bank and their implications for technology required
  • Conceptual Thinking, Strategic Orientation, Team Leadership, Analytical Thinking, Innovation, Flexibility, Integrity
  • Leadership experience with team size exceeding 10 – 15
  • Self-motivated
  • Clear and demonstrative communication
