Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Guidance & Market Positioning

• Advise the Board and CEO on business strategy, lending products, and market expansion.
• Bring insights from gold loan, securities-backed lending, and NBFC business models.
• Help define

  scalable and risk-adjusted growth plans

2. Regulatory & Governance Oversight

• Guide the company on compliance with

  RBI regulations for NBFCs

  , lending norms, and gold loan guidelines.
• Assist in establishing strong

  governance, audit, and compliance frameworks

  .
• Serve as a trusted name for external stakeholders including regulators and auditors.

3. Risk & Credit Policy Advisory

• Advise on setting up

  credit underwriting policies

  for gold and securities-backed lending.
• Share expertise on risk-adjusted pricing, collateral management, and credit monitoring.
• Mentor the Risk & Credit team leaders in policy design and execution.

4. Business Development & Partnerships

• Leverage personal network to connect with

  banks, NBFCs, capital providers, and investors

  .
• Advise on

  treasury management, securitization, and fund-raising strategies

  .
• Support the leadership in strategic alliances with fintech partners, insurance companies, and distribution networks.

5. Talent Mentorship

• Mentor the

  CEO, CFO, CRO, and business heads

  on financial services best practices.
• Help attract senior industry talent by lending credibility to the leadership team.

Key Requirements

• Experience:

  25+ years in senior leadership roles (Banking, NBFC, or Financial Services).

• Background:

  Strong expertise in

  gold loan, retail secured lending, NBFC lending operations

  .

• Network:

  Well-connected with regulators, financial institutions, investors, and industry bodies.

• Knowledge:

  Deep understanding of RBI guidelines, NBFC compliance framework, and credit risk policies.

• Leadership:

  Proven ability to guide and mentor CXO-level executives.

• Education:

  CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA or equivalent preferred.
