Job Description

Responsible for meeting customers’ day to day transactional needs, resolving their service and maintenance related inquiries. Coordinate with upstream and downstream process for faster processing. Conduct timely and effective follow-up on accounts for set-up & maintenance.

Ensure the quality of work is not compromised and customer centric approach is always followed. Provide timely response for all customer requests.

Knowledge/Experience:

• New account creation and updates to existing accounts for Global institutional clients
• Co-ordinate with internal teams to ensure Account opening and settlement instructions are processed per client requirement 
• Create/amendment securities & cash instructions on various applications used by Front office, Middle office and Back office and ensure accurate and timely delivery of assigned duties.
• Must have good knowledge in trade life cycle
• Good Knowledge and understanding of Capital Markets products and services such as Fixed Income, Equities, FX, Derivatives, commodities, CDO, DCM.
• Be a subject matter expert of all things reference data across traditional, open-source environment.
• Manage client and stakeholder expectations through clearly defined SLA
• Check for correctness, including validation of client and completeness of documents received against existing regulations.
• Need to ensure adherence of all cut-off times and quality of processing as maintained in SLAs.
• Ensuring operational targets on productivity and quality are achieved as agreed with the consortium
• Provide feedback to analyst on quality and performance to meet the project deliverables, perform Root Cause Analysis and design adhoc need based trainings to improve delivery quality
• Implement process level changes in tune with evolving product and industry best practices.
• Ensure the process risks are identified and mitigated effectively and prevent breaches.

Competencies/Skills:

• Experience in Capital markets, banking or financial services is preferred
• Strong understanding of Reference data, Instruction set-up
