Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MS Access Developer to lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of complex MS Access applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Access, VBA, and relational database design, along with the ability to interface with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust MS Access applications using VBA, SQL, and macros.
Optimize and refactor legacy Access databases for better performance and maintainability.
Integrate Access applications with other data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint).
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional database solutions.
Develop reports, queries, forms, and dashboards as per user requirements.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and bug fixes.
Mentor junior developers and enforce coding best practices.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills And Experience

7+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Access development.
Expertise in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), SQL, and Access Macros.
Strong understanding of relational database design and normalization.
Experience with Access-to-SQL migration or integration is a plus.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Microsoft 365 / Access Runtime Environments.
Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
Exposure to other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
Prior experience in a banking & finance environment (domain-specific knowledge).

Education
