Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MS Access Developer to lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of advanced MS Access applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Access, VBA, and relational database systems, along with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain efficient MS Access applications using VBA, SQL, and macros.

Refactor and optimize legacy Access databases for improved performance and maintainability.

Integrate MS Access with other data sources, such as SQL Server, Excel, and SharePoint.

Translate business requirements into functional database-driven solutions.

Create reports, queries, forms, and dashboards based on user requirements.

Provide ongoing technical support, including debugging and issue resolution.

Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to best coding practices.

Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to deliver high-quality applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

7+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Access application development.

Strong expertise in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), SQL, and Access Macros.

Solid understanding of relational database design and data normalization principles.

Ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft 365 and Access Runtime Environments.

Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Exposure to other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).

Prior experience in banking and finance domain will be an advantage.
