Job Description

ROLE / PURPOSE

 

  •  Handle customer’s / buyer’s accounts independently and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • To respond client (complaints) within TAT with correct information.
  • Setting up targets for business growth.
  • Product pricing and dealing with the terms of the order (sampling to payment receipt).
  • Day-to-day inspection and follow-up of scheduled tasks and planning for final dispatch.

 

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBLE AREAS

 

STRATEGIC

 

  • Interact closely with design, supply chain and production team to ensure the Customer's requirements are fully met
  • To ensure the organization’s sales target is met by identifying new customers and generating new leads
  • To get new sales order from the existing clients and generate revenue for the organization through a robust Sales Process.
  • Develop new and better processes for the delivery of the client to be on time and attract no penalty(penalty clause, late fine, extra taxes under any circumstances).


 

OPERATIONAL

 

  • To be involved with the existing customers and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
  • To ensure timely delivery of sample to the customer as per the stipulated date.
  • Helping to develop new samples as per market demand.
  • Handling export enquiries and orders.
  • Day-to-day inspection and follow-up of scheduled tasks and escalating in case of irregularity.
  • Information regarding data and pricing of products to be on time and error free.
  • Understanding the Tech pack & buyer's requirement sample developments to be done.
  • Keep tracking of PP sample approval at the time of production.
  • Generating packing approval after completing SOP.
  • To maintain time line of preparing shipping documents and final shipment.

 

       

Process Improvements


  • Ensure correct reporting system to update daily progress accurately.
  • Have necessary check points to flag emergency situations.
  • Improve accuracy in communications both within and to external stake holders.
  • Maintaining confidential data.

 

MIS review and action planning

 

  • Validation of all information and data.
  • Onus for all MIS and communication.
  • Taking proper care for estimation and costing.
  • Maintaining proper trackers for WIP and deliveries.

 

 

FINANCIAL

 

  • Sharing correct information for invoices.
  • Ensuring timely delivery by maintain quality to reduce penalties and rejection of consignments.
  • Enquiring means to reduce departmental costs.
  • Stressing on correct estimation and costing to reduce financial impact.
  • Keep tracking of the offered samples for new business development.
  • Payment realization of all outstanding amount of existing clients.

 


PEOPLE

 

  • Reduce departmental attrition.
  • Proper distribution of work to the stake holders.
  • Co-ordination with all departments for smooth operation.
  • Ability to work in a team.

 

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

Internal: Sales & BD, Sample, Packing, Production, Finance & Accounts, HR, SMT.

External: Vendors / Suppliers, Fabricators, Buyers, Professional Associations / Bodies, Competitors.

DESIRED PROFILE


Education: Any Graduate, MBA/ PGDM from an institute of repute with minimum 8 years of experience    

Salary       :  As per market standard.
