Job Overview

We are seeking a highly dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager – Sales to lead our sales operations across Kerala. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing distributors, super stockists, and sub-distributors, with a proven track record in driving sales growth in the Retail and FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth & Target Achievement:
  • Drive statewide sales initiatives to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Implement innovative strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
  • Distribution Network Expansion:
  • Identify, onboard, and manage super stockists, distributors, and sub-distributors across Kerala.
  • Strengthen and optimize the existing distribution network to maximize market penetration.
  • Sales Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a large team of sales professionals to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • Drive performance through structured training, performance monitoring, and incentive programs.
  • State-wide Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and implement state-level sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive trends, and customer needs.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure effective stock management, order processing, and timely delivery to maintain supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor sales data, prepare performance reports, and recommend actionable improvements.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with key trade partners, retailers, and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and finalize commercial terms with distribution partners.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Sales, with at least 8 years in a leadership role within Retail or FMCG.
  • Strong experience in managing super stockists, distributors, and sub-distributors in Kerala.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth across a large territory.
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills with experience handling large sales teams.
  • A dynamic, energetic, self-motivated, and result-oriented professional with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Deep understanding of the Kerala market, distribution models, and retail trade dynamics.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
