Job Description

Position: RTR CoE Team Lead (Record to Report)

Role Overview:

RTR CoE Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Perform GL reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and finalize trial balances
  • Prepare first-cut standalone financial statements along with notes to accounts
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close as per defined calendars
  • Maintain compliance with Indian GAAP and Ind-AS accounting standards

Regulatory, Audit & Compliance

  • Prepare data for regulatory and statutory requirements including cost audit, tax audit, transfer pricing, MSME reporting, MCA compliances, society audits, due diligence, and 80-IB reporting
  • Support statutory, internal, and tax audits including journal entry reviews
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, IFC, RCM, and delegation of authority

Process Excellence & Stakeholder Management

  • Drive RTR process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Identify root causes of accounting issues and implement corrective actions
  • Partner with Shared Services leadership and business finance teams through reporting, metrics, and insights
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as BU finance teams, auditors, IT, and consultants

Team & People Management

  • Supervise and manage RTR team members within the Shared Services Centre
  • Set goals, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of KPIs and SLAs
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and guidance
  • Support change management initiatives and foster a collaborative team culture

Key Performance Indicators

  • SLA achievement

  • Process efficiency improvements
  • Actual vs budgeted cost performance

Candidate Profile

Education

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting with strong RTR exposure
  • Experience in a Shared Services Centre is preferred
  • Exposure to Real Estate / Construction industry is an added advantage

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of RTR processes and financial reporting
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Blackline, BPC, Cadency or similar)
  • Advanced MS Excel and strong working knowledge of MS Office tools

  • Strong business understanding and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Comfortable managing change and ambiguity
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
