About the Role

Senior Manager Record to Report (R2R) Global Process Owner (GPO)

Techno-Functional role with a 50% Technical and 50% Core Finance R2R mix

Key Responsibilities

Global R2R Process Ownership

• Define and execute global R2R process strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Drive standardization, harmonization & governance across regions.
• Act as the global escalation point for R2R-related issues.

Process Optimization & Transformation

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Drive digital transformation, automation, analytics, and process digitization.
• Establish best-in-class R2R practices across capability centers.

Stakeholder & Team Leadership

• Partner with Finance, IT, and global business units.
• Manage external stakeholders (Accenture, Deloitte, etc.).
• Mentor regional finance teams and support change management.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Reinforce internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Ensure adherence to global finance policies, regulatory standards, and guidelines.

Technical Requirements (50% Technical)

• Strong

  SAP S/4HANA

  functional understanding (Finance / R2R modules)
• Hands-on expertise in

  Data Migrations, Integrations, Interface Issue Resolution

• Experience working with automation tools & digital finance initiatives

• BlackLine expertise

  (account reconciliations, journal automation)
• Exposure to AI, analytics-driven solutions, or RPA (preferred)

Functional Requirements (50% Core Finance)

• In-depth expertise in R2R processes:

  General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Month-End Close, Reporting

• Experience leading shared services/global finance operations
• Strong understanding of compliance, internal controls, and finance governance
• Ability to manage global stakeholders and drive process change initiatives
• Demonstrated leadership in large-scale finance transformation projects

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required; Masters/CA/CPA preferred
• 15+ years of overall experience with

  10+ years in financial leadership roles

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills
