Senior Manager - Project Engineering & Quotations (ETO)

Job Description

The identified candidate will be a member of a cross- functional team that provides general management and direction of a Project engineering and Quotations organization and ensues all performance metrics are achieved. Role & responsibilities Responsible for people management including resource planning, hiring, training, goal setting,performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being. Organize the design activity according to the load, project complexity, and required skillset. Manage the Load/capacity of the team and develop versatility in it. Ensure technical quality and service levels are maintained throughout the quotation and engineering lifecycle. Define training according to skill matrix and competencies targets. Ensure compliance with project objectives are maintained within our product definition file and quotation and design intent. Continuous improvement of the design activity in terms of technical knowledge, efficiency, quality, and productivity. Ensure overall customer satisfaction and quality is delivered for both our internal and externalcustomers. Leads change activity to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction with successful change management. Functional Excellent verbal /written communication skill and interpersonal and customer relation skills Excellent problem resolution skill and leadership skills Ability to interact and work effectively with individuals of a different cultural background located in a remote location Ability to think outside the box and creatively Must work extremely well in a team environment and ability to embrace change. Have strong mediation, negotiation, and facilitation skills. Qualifications - Internal BE/B.Tech/ in Electrical/EEE Engineering with 10+ years of direct engineering & Quotations experience with ETO equipment and minimum of 3yrs of demonstrated leadership/people management skills. Masters in Power system / Control system Engineering will be an added advantage
