Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll cycles including bonuses, incentives, and off-cycle payments.
Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (e.g., tax deductions, PF, ESIC, TDS, etc.).
Ensure compliance with local, state, and national labor and tax laws.
Prepare and support audits (internal and external) related to payroll and benefits.
Maintain and update payroll policies in accordance with changing regulations and company policies.
Generate payroll reports for HR, Finance, and leadership for planning and budgeting.
Provide insights on labor cost management, headcount forecasting, and compensation modeling.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Legal, and Compliance.
