Job Description

Key Result Areas (KRAs): -

Expertise in managing Arbitration matters, including initiation of proceedings, filing of claims, co-ordination with Arbitral institutions.
Obtaining awards, and follow-up through Execution Petitions (EP).
Proficiency in managing legal actions under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and Section 25 recovery proceedings, including timely filing, tracking, and coordination with external counsel.
Managing Execution and Attachment processes, including filing EPs, obtaining attachment orders, co-ordinating with bailiffs, monitoring execution progress, and ensuring closure of recovery actions.
Reviewing and handling litigation under Civil, Criminal, Arbitration and Commercial laws on behalf of the Organization.
Drafting responses, pleadings, and legal communications, and representing the Company before various legal forums.
Handling Police Complaints, Criminal matters arising from loan, mortgages, and other offences, with effective coordination.

Required Skills:-

Proven In-House Legal Experience with Reputed Banks or NBFCs
High Degree of Professional Ethics, Integrity, and gravitas
Excellent Judgment & Analytical Skills
Exceptional Interpersonal and communication skills

Qualification:-

BL or LLB from a reputed Institute or University

No of Years Industry Practice:-

8+ Years of Post Qualification relevant experience
Collection-Legal/Litigation experience in NBFCs/Banks is a Must
