Role Purpose
Responsible for ensuring a detailed understanding of the Global Corporate Functions reported financial results, including KPIs, Capital plans, requirements and reporting, Preparation of reports, presentations and analysis for the Corporate Functions Finance Business Partners.Responsible for maintaining an in-depth understanding of the Functions Financial Plan, Excellence in Budgeting & Planning (EBP). This will be attained through an in-depth analysis of strategic initiatives and alternatives, market outlooks, and enterprise value drivers.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor and understand results, outlook and trends and to advise the FBP on issues and actions recommended.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly forecast reviews with FBP of the central functions.
- Develop, prepare and communicate the monthly results to the FBP
- Preparation/Presents of reports, presentations and analysis for the FBP
- Drives the functions financial planning processes (IHG’s Overhead forecasts, budgets, EBP, Long Range and Capital Plans), including continuous improvement of processes, input from and linkage with non-financial activities.

- Strong system and application knowledge preferred (Essbase. PowerPoint, Excel etc)

Qualifications –
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent
Experience –
- 8-10 years experience with a major international accounting, consulting or investment practice.
