Role Overview: The Senior Manager – Fraud Risk Management will be responsible for leading the fraud risk management framework, policies, processes, and controls across the organization. With over 10 years of experience in fraud risk, he/she will ensure effective prevention, detection, and investigation of fraud across products, channels, and geographies. The role involves managing a team of professionals and overseeing zone-level and Pan-India fraud risk operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Strategy & Framework:
o Design and implement enterprise-wide fraud risk management policies, frameworks, and mitigation strategies aligned with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.

  • Fraud Prevention & Detection:
o Develop systems and use data analytics/AI-driven tools for early detection of fraud risks.
o Conduct root-cause analysis of fraud cases and implement corrective actions.

  • Operations & Monitoring:
o Monitor fraud trends across regions (Zone / Pan India) and ensure timely interventions.
o Oversee fraud risk MIS, dashboards, and reporting to senior management.

  • Team Leadership & Training:
o Lead and manage a team of fraud risk professionals across zones.
o Provide training and guidance to zonal/regional branches on fraud prevention mechanisms.

  • Investigation & Resolution:
o Supervise fraud investigations, evidence gathering, and coordination with legal, vigilance, and law enforcement authorities.

  • Stakeholder Management:
o Partner with business, operations, audit, compliance, and technology teams to enhance controls and minimize fraud exposure.
o Engage with regulators and industry forums on fraud-related updates and compliance.

  • Policy & Compliance:
o Ensure adherence to RBI/NHB/SEBI guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements relevant to fraud and risk management.
