Senior Manager - Contracts Management - IT

Role Overview: You will be responsible for utilizing your extensive experience in corporate laws, specializing in SaaS agreements, IT agreements, software licensing, hardware procurement, support and maintenance agreements, and global partnership contracts. Your role will involve drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts, including arbitration and dispute resolution. Additionally, you will oversee end-to-end contract lifecycle management, ensure compliance, and lead a team in identifying requirements, managing deliverables, and resolving legal issues. Key Responsibilities: - Draft and review a variety of legal documents such as NDAs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, IT service agreements, software and technology licensing agreements, vendor license & maintenance agreements, and subcontractor agreements following pre-agreed precedents and guidelines. - Oversee contract lifecycle management including drafting, redlining, negotiation, and abstraction. Ensure accurate contract summarization, storage, and compliance tracking. - Implement and maintain contract management processes and platforms across industries. - Ensure all contracts adhere to legal, regulatory, and compliance standards. Monitor and regulate contractual obligations to mitigate risks. - Lead and coordinate with a team to manage deliverables, resolve legal issues, maintain a legal database, and provide training modules to upskill team members. - Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for contract management-related queries, work closely with in-house legal and business teams, and manage Turnaround Times (TAT) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely contract execution. - Independently manage live projects and provide legal solutions to any contract-related concerns. Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of Indian legal frameworks, SaaS contracts, IT agreements, and licensing laws. - Specific expertise in Media and Content industry contracts is highly desirable. - Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a team. - Skilled in handling multiple projects under tight deadlines. - Strong leadership and communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - LLB/ BA.LLB undergraduate degree and 7+ years of total work experience, LLM preferred but not mandatory.
