Senior Manager - Civil & Structural Erection

Purpose/Objective

Job Title: Sr. Manager - Civil & Structure Location: Pirpainti , Bihar Purpose: We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Manager in Civil & Structure with a background in the Power/Energy industry to join our team in Pirpainti, Bihar. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of relevant experience and a strong track record in managing civil and structural projects within the energy sector. As a Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of civil and structural activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Roles and Responsibilities: - Lead the civil and structural design and engineering activities for power plant projects - Provide technical expertise and guidance on construction methodologies and materials - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met - Expertise in BTG, BOP and other structural works - Oversee the preparation of project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards - Manage contractor relationships and monitor project progress - Resolve any design or construction issues that may arise during the project lifecycle - Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to uphold project quality - Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to senior management - Mentor and coach junior team members to foster professional development Behavioural Skills: - Excellent leadership and team management abilities - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to make sound decisions under pressure - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety - Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Technical Skills: - Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro - Thorough understanding of civil engineering principles and practices - Knowledge of construction codes and standards applicable to the energy sector - Experience with project management tools and software Non-Negotiable Skills: - Proven experience in managing civil and structural projects in the Power/Energy industry - Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects successfully - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Technical Competencies

Proficiency in Civil & structural design ,Knowledge of construction codes and standards applicable ,Experience with project management tools ,Construction of BTG, BOP and structural works

Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification: - Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or related field Experience: - 12-15 years of experience in Civil & Structural engineering - Prior experience in the Power/Energy industry is essential - Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale projects - Proven track record of delivering projects within budget and timelines
