Senior Logistics Executive

1. Job Purpose

To oversee and manage end-to-end warehouse operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of materials while maintaining compliance, safety, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Inbound Operations

- Ensure timely receipt of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG) returns.

- Verify GRN process, documentation, batch numbers, and quality requirements.

- Coordinate with QA/QC, procurement, and vendors for discrepancies.

- Monitor unloading turnaround time and dock utilization.

B. Outbound Operations

- Plan and execute dispatches as per daily dispatch plan.

- Ensure accuracy in picking, staging, packing, and loading.

- Validate shipment documents.

- Coordinate with transporters for vehicle placement and sequencing.

C. Inventory Management

- Conduct cycle counts and physical stock audits.

- Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance.

- Maintain SAP vs. physical inventory accuracy.

- Analyze stock variances.

D. Warehouse Administration

- Monitor manpower and shift planning.

- Ensure proper MHE usage and maintenance.

- Maintain warehouse records and SAP transactions.

- Optimize space utilization.

E. Compliance & Safety

- Implement 5S and safety guidelines.

- Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials.

- Conduct toolbox talks and incident reporting.

F. Coordination & Communication

- Liaise with production, QA/QC, purchase, and planning teams.

- Handle shipment-related customer service.

- Provide daily MIS reports.

- OTIF performance

- Loading/unloading TAT

- Zero non-compliance

- Reduced demurrage/detention

- Space utilization

- Zero safety incidents

4. Skills & Competencies

- Knowledge of warehouse operations and SAP

- Leadership skills

- Problem-solving ability

- Knowledge of statutory and safety norms

- MS Excel & documentation expertise

- Ability to handle high-volume operations

5. Qualification & Experience

- Graduate / Diploma (Logistics/Supply Chain preferred)

- 5–8 years warehouse experience

- Experience in team handling

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
