POSITION PURPOSE
Lead the diverse Source-to-Pay (S2P) Sourcing Support team primarily responsible for the procurement sourcing activities at Bayer. This includes managing all required goods and services in alignment with the agreed global category strategies and sourcing approaches.
Key responsibilities include leading the team responsible for identifying and evaluating supply sources, supporting the sourcing activities, price updates to contracts and ensuring cost-efficient, high-quality, and timely procurement while supporting business needs. The job holder plays a central role in building the team for the future, upskilling them, drive a continuous improvement culture, coach and develop the team to create a psychological safe environment.
Collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers is also a critical aspect, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and fostering strong relationships that enhance sourcing performance.

WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in science, engineering, or business management.
- Extensive experience in procurement, sourcing methodologies, and process optimization.
- At least 5-10 years in leadership roles (team lead, cluster lead, or operations manager equivalent), with a proven track record in leading large, complex teams and transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, collaboration, influencing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a global and virtual environment.
- Strategic mindset, financial acumen, and analytical decision-making skills.
- Strong market understanding and professional network.
- Digital fluency and working knowledge of AI.
