This role is to provide the necessary support to ensure timely purchase of materials and/or services, contracting & issuance of purchase orders. This includes responsibility of reviewing purchase requisitions, understanding the requirement, sourcing, negotiation, vendor finalization, preparing comparatives, coordinating for contracting and defining scope of work, on time renewal of contracts, creation and issuance of purchase orders, delivery follow up, reconciliation, reporting, etc. This role is also expected to drive measurable improvement areas within the category sourcing, contracting, purchasing and digitalization efforts.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:

Reviewing Purchase Requisitions for it s correctness and understand the requirement in detail

Sourcing, processing RFx, preparing comparatives and vendor finalization

Contracting, creating Purchase Orders after the approved PR
-
Coordinating for PO approval, PO issuance and delivery follow ups

Facilitating reconciliation as applicable for outstanding delivery of materials/ services, invoices, etc.

De strate a solid understanding of legal terminology and draft and/or revise a variety of contracts with vendors

Provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to contract drafting. Also keep a track record of contracts in progress & completed within the categories assigned

Competency in integrated supply chain management software, like Microsoft Dynamics, Coupa, etc.

Advanced knowledge of supply chain, procurement, contracting, logistics and payment process.

Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes

Resolving day-to-day supply chain issues and promoting operational consistency.

Vendor Management - Manage "tactical" vendors regarding onboarding, offboarding, performance, and contract compliance

Support the development of vendor performance scorecards in partnership with functional, business and analytics teams

Support the development and facilitation of presentation materials that are clear and effective to clearly communicate engagement objectives and expectations to vendors and cross-functional stakeholders

Partner with internal teams as needed (Plan, Execute and support) to ensure requirements and quality standards are met for sourcing efforts in assigned areas

Partner with key internal resources to ensure an effective negotiating strategy is set and aligned to business requirements to obtain the best overall value based on performance

Support the development of category strategies and approaches that are aligned to business plans and responsible for the execution of those strategies and delivery of savings

Maintain and up the vendor database and key information

Identify and escalate risks, issues, and other action items of vendors

Execute and troubleshoot the full lifecycle for purchase operations from order entry, receipts (as needed), invoicing and ongoing business/vendor support accurately, timely, and in accordance with Lowes policies and procedures and proper audit trail

Years of Experience:
7+ years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement and Contracting

De strate knowledge in tax, contracts, ITAM (HAM/SAM) and software commercial licensing construct
