Position Overview Job Posting Title Job Posting Title Senior Lead Engineer Job Description Summary Job Description Summary The Lead Engineer, AWS, is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and services on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and best practices to ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. The Lead Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and security, to support the organization's cloud strategy and objectives. Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures using AWS services. Develop and maintain architectural blueprints and technical documentation. Leverage IaaC processes using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible. Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments. Leverage GenAI tools (copilot) for code reviews, adherence to best practices and standards. Stay current with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS. Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation etc. Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript). Certifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or other relevant AWS certifications are highly desirable. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). DevSecOps practices and tools.
