Senior Lead Engineer

As a QA Engineer you will work as part of a team responsible for delivering high quality Management and Analytics software product for our client. Through the application of systematic test tools and processes you will help deliver reliable, innovative cloud infrastructure products. You will be part of a team that develops, modifies, and executes software test plans, analyzes and writes test standards and procedures, maintains documentation of results, automates test cases and works closely with development and support engineers in resolution of problems. This position requires an individual who is creative, team-oriented, a quick learner, efficient planner, self-motivated and driven to produce consistent results.

Essential Functions:

As part of a team, the individual will be responsible for –

• Understanding test requirements and formulation of test cases
• Developing, implementing, and executing test plans
• Contributing to test automation
• Collecting comprehensive and relevant data for problem investigation
• Participate in technical discussions.
• Work closely with Development team to resolve/reproduce bugs
• Work closely with customer support team to resolve customer issues
• Willing to work on additional tasks and responsibilities that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals.

Job Requirements:

• Background in QA including test planning, process, and QA methodology
• Experience in software test planning, documentation and process improvement
• Experience in large scale distributed system testing
• Experience in Kubernetes and CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience in TCP/IP and Networking with basic understanding of routing/switching
• Experience in Performance and scalability testing
• Must have programming experience in Python/Perl
• Experience in automation framework development preferably pytest or robot.
• Must be excellent in OOPs concepts and programming
• Experience with agile development, continuous integration and automated testing
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a dynamic work environment
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience:

• BE/BTech or ME/MS/MTech or MCA with minimum 8 years of relevant experience
