Job Description: Senior Laravel Developer (Team Lead)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Laravel Developer who can lead our development team, drive technical excellence, and deliver high-quality web applications. The ideal candidate should be strong in Laravel, PHP, and modern backend practices, with proven experience in team leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Responsibilities

Lead the development and maintenance of high-quality web applications using Laravel.
Architect, design, and develop scalable backend systems and APIs.
Review code, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Optimize application performance, security, and database structures.
Work with front-end teams to integrate APIs and improve overall system architecture.
Lead deployment processes, version control, and CI/CD workflows.
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide quick, effective solutions.

Team Leadership & Management

Manage a team of developers, assign tasks, and ensure timely project delivery.
Guide junior developers through coaching, mentoring, and technical support.
Conduct regular team meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, QA, Product, DevOps) for smooth project execution.
Maintain clear documentation, development standards, and coding guidelines.
Ensure team productivity, performance tracking, and skill development.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Laravel and PHP development.
Strong knowledge of MySQL, RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and OOP principles.
Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and version control workflows.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (Vue.js / ReactJS) is a plus.
Experience with AWS, Docker, Linux, or similar environments is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication and team management skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience in performance optimization and security best practices.
