Role Description

This is an on-site role for a Senior Landscape Architect located in Gurugram at INTEC. The Senior Landscape Architect will be responsible for landscape planning, design, landscaping, creating planting plans, and developing landscape architecture solutions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the planning, design, and delivery of high-quality landscape architecture projects across various typologies including public realm, hospitality, residential, and urban infrastructure.
  • Drive the development and management of BIM models for complex landscape projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and digital delivery standards.
  • Integrate sustainable design principles, low-impact development strategies, and local environmental considerations into all stages of design.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including architects, MEP engineers, civil consultants, and contractors to ensure landscape designs are seamlessly integrated into broader project frameworks.
  • Maintain BIM documentation, drawing standards, LOD requirements, and ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and client-specific BIM protocols.
  • Oversee and participate in clash detection, model validation, and issue resolution through platforms like Navisworks and BIM 360.
  • Prepare and review detailed construction drawings, technical documentation, BOQs, and specifications in collaboration with support teams.
  • Conduct regular project reviews, QA/QC checks, and technical workshops with teams and clients.
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing, skill development, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with clients for design presentations, progress updates, and technical discussions, ensuring clear communication and alignment with expectations.
  • Stay current with emerging design trends, digital tools, and industry best practices, including AI-driven workflows, parametric design, and environmental analysis tools.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field (Mandatory).
  • Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Urban Design (Preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, including at least 3-5 years in a project leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM tools; experience with BIM 360, Enscape, Lumion, or Twin motion is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino, or Grasshopper for conceptual design and visualizations is a plus.
  • Strong grasp of site planning, horticulture, grading, hardscape detailing, and sustainable landscape systems.
  • Familiarity with local codes, NBC, MoEF guidelines, and international landscape standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead client meetings and presentations.
  • Experience with ISO 19650, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and digital project delivery workflows is a plus.
