Senior Laboratory Technician

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Medical Laboratory Technician to manage and oversee the overall functioning of our pathology laboratory. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth laboratory operations, accuracy of test results, quality compliance, and coordination with doctors and technical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the pathology laboratory
• Supervise and guide junior lab technicians and support staff
• Ensure accurate sample collection, processing, testing, and reporting
• Maintain quality control, calibration, and preventive maintenance of lab equipment
• Ensure compliance with NABL / NABH standards, quality protocols, and biomedical waste management rules
• Handle documentation and records related to NABL audits and quality assurance
• Monitor inventory of reagents, kits, and consumables
• Verify and validate test reports before release
• Coordinate with doctors, hospital staff, and management for smooth workflow
• Assist during internal and external audit.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: DMLT / BMLT / MMLT or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory
• Exposure to NABL accreditation process is mandatory / highly preferred
• Sound knowledge of hematology, biochemistry, microbiology & immunology
• Experience in handling QC, SOPs, and audit documentation
• Working knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) preferred
